In January 2020 Ali had the opportunity to record in the home studio of her musical heroes, Rodrigo y Gabriela. This was the result of that week she spent in Lumbini Studios in Ixtapa, Mexico, recording with Pablo Araujo. Recorded in January 2020, "Lumbini '20" is one of the most exciting periods of Ali's career to date.
